Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Patient Transport Worker in Dallas to transport patients, belongings, medical records, and equipment to support patient care across the facility. The role requires safe handling of patients and sensitive information, while delivering courteous service to patients and staff.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient transfers, admissions, and discharges, maintaining confidentiality, and following all safety and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients and their belongings, medical records, specimens, and equipment to support patient care.
• Maintains friendly, efficient, and positive customer service to patients, families, and staff.
• Safely moves patients with traction, IVs, drainage, oxygen, and other equipment as needed.
• Notifies dispatcher on status of duties and follows instructions.
• Verifies patient identity using two identifiers before transport.
• Transports patients on admissions and discharges and assists with boarding and alighting from vehicles.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to privacy policies.
• Transports decedents to the morgue with proper documentation and timely handling.
