Responsibilities

• Transports patients and their belongings safely within the institution.
• Transports medical records, specimens and equipment as needed.
• Uses electronic devices or computers to document and track tasks.
• Verifies patient identity before transport.
• Assists patients into/out of vehicles and on/off equipment as required.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
• Complies with safety policies and regulatory requirements.
