Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a medical setting, preferred.
• Good communication skills—fluent in English.
• Physical demands: constant walking, standing, stooping, bending, turning, lifting; frequent stretching, pulling, pushing; occasional sitting.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients in wheel chairs or on stretchers to and from units as directed.
• Responds to page promptly and uses proper body mechanics.
• Promotes and maintains cleanliness of transport equipment; reports defects.
• Picks up and delivers materials within the Hospital promptly and accurately.
• Performs related duties as required.
