Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Transport patients and/or cargo to designated destinations.
• Escort patients to designated areas and assist to prevent accidents or falls.
• Operate vehicle in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Maintain radio or telephone contact with supervisor or dispatcher for instructions.
• Observe the hospital exterior and parking lots to report suspicious activity.
• Maintain records of receipts and expenses for budget preparation.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance and inform supervisor of needed repairs.
• Keep logs of cargo transported, arrival/departure times, and miles traveled.
