Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Supervisor to plan and coordinate daily activities and projects of assigned staff within the Patient Transport Services department, ensuring 24/7 operations run smoothly and in line with organizational goals.

You will lead a team, hire and develop staff, manage dispatch and workflow, and collaborate with clinical areas to optimize patient and materials transport while maintaining budget and service standards.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Patient Transporter or four (4) years of customer service experience required.
• One (1) year or more of leadership experience preferred.
• Two (2) years of transport or dispatch experience in a hospital environment preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Patient Transport Services department, including staffing and budgeting.
• Schedule staff to match peak demand and coordinate dispatch across service areas.
• Lead, coach, and develop staff; ensure adherence to policies and continuous improvement.
