Job summary

Southeast Community Health Systems is hiring a transportation driver/custodian in Louisiana. You will transport patients to and from appointments under the direction of the COO, while performing custodial duties and maintaining safety procedures.

Daily van checks, route planning, and collaboration with care teams are expected. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a Louisiana Chauffeur’s License with a clean MVR, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED Certificate required.
• Driving Requirements: Chauffeur’s License issued by the State of Louisiana; clean driving record.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Other Skill Requirements: Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations and create simple drawings/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from appointments under the COO or designee.
• Ensure safety measures and custodial duties as outlined in the job description.
• Perform daily interior/exterior van checks to ensure good working order.
• Collaborate with leadership to meet transportation program goals and objectives.
• Map routes to minimize traffic and mileage; ensure timely pickup attendance.
• Assist passengers in boarding and alighting the van and drive to destinations.
