Job summary

Sheppard Pratt is seeking a Driver to operate the health system van or automobile, transporting patients and occasional deliveries across the metropolitan area.

The role requires a High School diploma, a valid driver's license, and an ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff in English. You will maintain records, report notable observations, and coordinate with local garages for vehicle service as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Valid Driver's License required and must be active.
• Three or more points on driving record disqualifies candidacy.
• Able to read, write and speak English well enough to communicate with patients and staff.
• Ability to operate a Health System van/automobile in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Drive the health system van or automobile to transport patients and deliveries.
• Maintain driving assignments records and report significant observations.
• Coordinate with garage for maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Support Timonium, Towson, Baltimore County and surrounding areas.
