Job summary

Genesis Exeter Center is seeking a Driver to oversee the safe transportation of patients, families and employees to and from the nursing center for approved appointments and activities to pre-determined destinations.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, with the base pay of USD 18.00 per hour and eligibility for Medica Benefits or Modified Compensation, adding 25% to the base rate. Comprehensive benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
• High school degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients, families and staff safely to appointments and activities from the nursing center.
• Operate the center vehicle safely and ensure passengers follow safety procedures.
• Assist passengers when boarding and disembarking.
• Maintain route and mileage logs.
• Monitor and replenish fuel and fluids.
• Report vehicle problems to the Nursing Home Administrator.
• Interact positively with patients and families.
