Job summary

Cano Health in Miami Lakes, FL is seeking a dedicated Driver to transport patients between locations in a courteous, timely manner. You will assist patients with entering/exiting vehicles, support wheelchair transfers, and ensure passenger safety while following schedule requirements.

Responsibilities include reporting schedule changes, inspecting vehicles daily, and maintaining patient confidentiality. A current valid driver's license and clean driving record are required; bilingual

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to 1 year driving experience preferred.
• Bi-lingual EN/ES preferred.
• Clean driving record.
• Knowledge of local streets and addresses is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and return of patients as per schedule.
• Stays in contact with the office to report any change in schedule including any patient cancellations.
• Assist patients to get in and out of the vehicle.
• Assist patients with wheelchair.
• Ensures the safety of all passengers.
• Works flexible shifts as work dictates.
• Deliveries, Holter monitors, and miscellaneous pick-ups as needed.
• Transport patient to hospital or specialist office.
• Checks and maintains van daily and ensures that it is mechanically safe and clean.
• Report any incident or accidents to the supervisor and management immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
