Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver’s license with clean driving record for past 3 years.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of driving experience preferred.
• Must be at least 25 years old.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Able to use a smartphone to send mobile email updates.
• Insurable on company vehicle liability insurance.
• Able to read and interpret written information.
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain high energy.
• Flexibility to work on-call, nights and weekends.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
• Pick-up and drop-off patients at airports or other locations, up to 10 hours round-trip.
• Navigate to various locations in all weather conditions and reroute as needed.
• Transport patients during treatment to different locations based on program participation or medical necessity.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, inspections, and patient transportation logs daily.
• Exhibit positive, professional demeanor when greeting interacting with patients.
• Practice de-escalation tactics as needed.
• Ensure safety regulations are met and vehicle is equipped with required safety kit.
• Communicate updates on patient status with cross-functional teams.
• Complete regular trainings and assessments as assigned.
• Maintain courteous and professional appearance.
• Other duties as assigned.
