Job summary

AdCare Hospital American Addiction Centers is seeking a driver to operate the company vehicle, transporting clients and visitors. You will adhere to safety rules and assist passengers, while keeping the vehicle clean and ready for service.

Roles include weekend and holiday availability and the ability to communicate clearly in transit. Requirements include a High School Diploma (Bachelor's preferred), an MA driver’s license, and at least 2 years of commercial driving experience.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting written information.
• Writing clearly and informatively; editing for spelling and grammar.

• Demonstrates presentation skills; participates in meetings.

Responsibilities

• Complies with local traffic regulations.
• Regulate heating, lighting, and ventilating systems for passenger comfort.
• Reports delays or accidents.
• Load or unload baggage or express items.
• Assist passengers entering and leaving the vehicle.
• Perform errands including store runs for patients.
• Make overnight drives and extended trips with irregular hours.
• Keep vehicle clean and in good operating condition.
• Complies with company dress code.
• Greet clients professionally during transport; orientate them on arrival.
• Complies with drug-free work environment.
