UCHealth is seeking a patient transport and support associate for the Anschutz Pavilion in Aurora, CO. This fully onsite role features a flexible shift and a pay range based on experience, with 80 hours per pay period (2 weeks).

Responsibilities include transporting patients, delivering equipment and specimens, assisting with meal distribution, and guiding patients and visitors. BLS/CPR within 90 days of hire is required.

Competenze

• BLS Healthcare Provider or Heartsaver CPR within 90 days of hire.

Mansioni

• Transports patients via wheelchair, stretcher or bed to designated sites as requested, including patients with oxygen tanks, intravenous pumps, drips, monitors and other equipment.
• Assists with the distribution of food and beverages to patients.
• Delivers equipment and specimens to requesting staff or department. Assists staff with removal of deceased bodies from units and transport to morgue.
• Greets and provides information and direction to patients and visitors.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
