Job summary

Good Samaritan University Hospital on Long Island is seeking caring patient care staff to support our team across the hospital. Eligible candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to assist with patient movement and daily care.

Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required. Current BLS for providers from the American Heart Association is preferred and will be considered for qualification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, equivalent or relevant experience.
• Prior patient care experience preferred
• Must be able to independently move patients from one location of the hospital to another.
• Must be flexible with hours and work weekends and holidays if necessary.
• BLS for providers from American Heart Association
