Job summary

Jefferson Health Lansdale Hospital is seeking staff to transport patients to inpatient beds and to other departments, maintaining safety and following PPE policies. The role includes cleaning equipment and adhering to infection control standards.

Work shifts are day hours with regular status employment. Essential functions include assisting with patient movement, monitoring status enroute, and decontaminating equipment per policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.

Job Description
Essential Functions:
Transport of patient: includes lifting and moving patient, movement to designation with appropriate equipment. Monitor patient's status enroute and respond to changes in patient condition. Decontaminates equipment after each transport in compliance with the Equipment Contamination Policy Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.
Educational / Training Requirements
High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent required
BLS - Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association required
