Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston is seeking a dedicated Transporter to move patients within the department and support patient flow. This role includes darkroom duties, stocking, and front-office tasks while maintaining compassionate service.

As part of CMH, you will join a team focused on safe, efficient patient transport. A High School Diploma and BCLS certification are required; transportation experience is preferred, with per diem hours available.

Qualifications

• Must have BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current throughout employment.
• Transportation experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from departments.
• Perform darkroom duties, order supplies, stock and dress patients.
• Answer telephones, greet patients and prepare requisitions for outpatients; provide clerical support using PACS and office equipment.
• Run errands throughout the facility.
