Endeavor Health Careers is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative II for EMH Main Hospital Elmhurst. The role involves handling high-volume calls, coordinating patient information, and supporting physicians and staff across hospital locations.

The schedule features 20 hours weekly, with specific shifts and occasional holiday coverage. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, at least one year of call center experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of call center experience.
• Strong grammar and spelling for emails, faxes, and paging.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer environments.

Responsabilités

• Communicates professionally to all patients, physicians, and staff members.
• Operates computer terminal to answer, transfer and relay incoming telephone calls.
• Handles operator calls for multiple facilities while navigating dual databases.
• Initiates codes/emergency alerts per hospital policy.
• Assists supervisor in clarifying instructions for patients and providing feedback to improve safety.
• Documents and relays messages for physicians and offices.
• Analyzes caller needs concerning physician’s answering service.
• Obtains necessary information and contacts physician on call as needed.
• Enters on-call schedules for physician answering service.
• Edits data and notifies leads of problems.
• Assists in clarifying instructions for callers to the answering service.
• Processes calls for the Patient Experience EEH System.
• Triages calls for clinics and urgent care, including hours, locations, services, price estimates, and insurance guidance.
• Monitors call lights and relays patient requests to caregivers.
• Launches codes and other emergency alerts as needed.
