Job description

The Patient Services Representative is responsible for patient registration, check-in, and clinical support duties.

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm at our Blaine, Brooklyn Park, Coon Rapids, and Otsego locations.

Twin Cities Orthopedics, an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), is a group of local medical practices owned and led by physicians, committed to giving patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Functions:
  • Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo ID
  • Verify and document insurance information according to current business practices
  • Schedule new and existing patients accurately and promptly in the practice management system
  • Communicate relevant information to patients, including appointment details, directions, check-in times, referral info, and copayments
  • Prepare and manage patient charts
  • Maintain knowledge of healthcare plan requirements and networks
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff
  • Rotate duties as Switchboard Operator, handling calls, coordinating interpreters, and patient referrals
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Customer Service experience required
  • Administrative or Medical Office experience preferred

  • Starting pay varies based on education, skills, and experience
  • A $1,500 sign-on bonus, payable on first paycheck with a 12-month commitment (internal applicants excluded)

  • Work during clinic hours and travel within clinic as needed
  • Perform physical activities such as bending, lifting, standing, and sitting for extended periods

  • Apply logical thinking to problem-solving
  • Follow instructions and operate equipment effectively
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Travel to other locations if required
