Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Bellevue/Overlake is seeking a Patient Services Representative for a Per Diem onsite role Monday through Friday. You will serve as the primary contact for patients and families, manage check‑in processes, and deliver patient‑centered customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and distribute appropriate paperwork to patients, families, caregivers and clinical staff.
• Triage questions and concerns from callers and forward to appropriate staff or department as needed.
• Perform general clerical duties including processing mail, taking inventory and ordering office supplies.
• Activate provider orders (Alliance Lab only).
• May schedule patient appointments and facilitate patient flow.
• Verify demographic, clinical and financial information with patients as required.

The Patient Services Representative is the primary point of contact for patients, families, and caregivers when arriving in a department. They facilitate the patient check in process and provide patient and family centered customer service.

This position is a Per Diem onsite role working Monday-Friday at our Overlake location.

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Effectively organize and manage time and tasks independently.
• Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) in a clear and concise manner.
• Can use a mouse, navigate computer programs and use email in a professional setting

The hourly pay range for this position is from $28.18 to $40.11, which includes the per diem differential, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.Although Fred Hutch is not sponsoring most H-1B visas at this time, candidates who already hold an H-1B sponsored by another organization and are currently in the U.S. may be eligible for this position.This position is a Per Diem onsite role working Monday-Friday at our Overlake location.Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center offers employees access to a retirement savings plan, an employee assistance program, and paid sick leave (1 hour for every 30 hours worked).
