Evergreen Radia, an outpatient imaging center in downtown Kirkland, Washington, is seeking a Patient Service Representative II. The role focuses on scheduling imaging, verifying insurance, and delivering outstanding patient service in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of medical office experience, strong computer skills, and a professional demeanor. Eligible for a signing bonus up to $5,000, with competitive benefits and a Monday–Saturday schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years in a customer service environment preferred.
• 2–3 years medical office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical insurance required.
• Very proficient in computer skills and multitasking across several software programs.

Responsibilities

• Accurately schedules imaging modalities and collects necessary clinical information.
• Greet patients and visitors, providing a welcoming and professional environment.
• Deliver excellent customer service and escalate issues to leadership when needed.
• Verify insurance coverage, authorizations, billing information, and payer rules.
• Assist patients with registration and check-in professionally.
• Communicate updates on insurance and authorization to patients and staff.
• Identify operational concerns and suggest practical solutions.
• Maintain accurate patient records following quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Support training and teamwork, acting as a resource when leadership is unavailable.
• Monitor supplies, verify deliveries, handle cash reconciliations.

Salary Range: $23.37 To $33.09 Hourly

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Compensation: The salary range is $23.37-$33.09/hour. The salary is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and employment status.

Position Summary:

• Accurately schedules all imaging modalities, including complex exams, and obtains clinical information from referring providers when needed.
• Welcomes patients and visitors, provides directions, and creates a professional and inviting environment.
• Delivers excellent customer service, resolves concerns, and escalates issues to the Supervisor or Manager when appropriate.
• Verifies insurance coverage, authorization requirements, billing information, and applicable payer rules.
• Assists patients with registration and check-in accurately and professionally.
• Communicates insurance and authorization updates to patients and other internal and external customers.
• Identifies operational concerns, recommends solutions, and serves as a resource for PSR staff when leadership is unavailable.
• Maintains accurate patient records and documentation while following quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Promotes teamwork by building respectful working relationships, supporting training, and demonstrating leadership.
• Monitors office supplies, verifies deliveries, secures bank deposits, and completes required cash reconciliations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2-3 year in a customer service-oriented environment required
• Minimum of 2-3-year medical office experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical insurance required
• Must be very proficient in computer skills, multi-tasking and working with several software programs at the same time
• Demonstrates a professional demeanor in appearance and behavior in all work-related interactions
