AdventHealth Wesley Chapel is seeking a patient access professional to greet patients, collect demographics, and handle insurance verification with Epic knowledge. This full-time, day-shift role emphasizes accurate registration, prompt payments, and exceptional service to patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and Epic used in patient registration.
• Experience with insurance verification and prior authorization processes.
• Strong data entry speed and accuracy for demographics and payments.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients to complete check-in/out process.
• Obtains demographic and financial information for scheduling/registration process.
• Collects payments for co-pays, self-pay, and balances.
• Answers calls and completes follow-ups in a timely manner.
• Assists with prior-authorizations for procedures.
• Assists with work queues and base systems.
• Performs additional administrative duties as needed.
• Provides excellent customer service to patients, staff, and vendors.

Job Description

• Greets patients to complete check-in/out process.
• Obtains demographic and financial information for scheduling/registration process.
• Collects payments for co-pays, self-pay, and additional balances.
• Answers Five 9 calls in a timely manner and completes queue call backs.
• Assists with completing prior-authorizations for in-office and hospital procedures.
• Assists with WQ's and On Base.
• Performs additional administrative duties as needed.
• Provides great customer service to all patients, staff, and vendors within the organization.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay Range
