Clarity RCM is a medical billing / revenue cycle management company serving private dermatology throughout the United States.

We are looking for a Patient Services Specialist to serve as a point of contact for patients with questions about their patient balances. You will be communicating with patients via phone and e-mail and providing exemplary service each step of the way. If you have a strong medical billing or coding background, please apply!

  • This is fully remote work from home position; however, candidates MUST reside in the following U.S. states to be considered: California (CA), Florida (FL), Illinois (IL), Indiana (IN), Kansas (KS), Maryland (MD), Nevada (NV), North Carolina (NC), Oklahoma (OK), South Carolina (SC), Tennessee (TN), Texas (TX), Washington (WA), and Wisconsin (WI).
  • Must be able to work Monday-Friday from 9:00AM-6:00PM Eastern Time (ET).
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Handle a heavy phone volume across all our clients, answering calls and emails from patients, explaining their patient responsibility, taking payments etc.
  • Identify billing issues and solve underlying issues with claims. Escalate issues to the right team members on the billing team.
  • Collect payments over the phone where applicable.
  • Provide exemplary customer service.
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience with medical billing concepts is a MUST. Applicants with no medical billing experience will not be considered for this role.
    • BONUS: Experience working in dermatology.
  • A successful candidate must understand in detail how medical insurance works and possess a knack for diagnosing and reviewing claims-related and denial issues.
  • Strong computer skills, excellent typing skills and ability to learn new Practice Management systems. Experience with Modernizing Medicine is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent customer service skills and pleasant demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and keep calm under pressure.
