Job summary

Eye Health America LLC is seeking a friendly front desk receptionist for our Eye Associates clinics. The role involves greeting patients, checking in, collecting payments, and ensuring accurate demographic data entry. Travel to various clinic locations in the Southeast is required, with overtime possible.

Responsibilities

• Checks patients in for appointments, greeting everyone in a pleasant and professional manner.
• Marks the arrival time of patients in the office and ensures patients are seen on time.
• Scans patients’ insurance cards and driver’s licenses.
• Enters all new patient demographic information into the computer.
• Ensures that proper authorization or referral is collected from the patient.
• Presents and collects fees, posts payments, and schedules the patient’s next appointment.
• Monitors accounts that are past due and collects payment at checkout.
• Maintains own cash drawer and balances daily with payments posted and credit cards processed.
• Evaluates chart data to verify information, signatures, and completeness.

Must be willing to travel to our different clinic locations. Overtime may be required.

Job Responsibilities:
