Job summary

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a Patient Services Manager for Connecticut Children's Medical Center, Hartford, CT. You will support the Patient Services Operation in the Food & Nutrition Department, developing dining solutions to meet patient and customer tastes while applying nutrition standards to healthy menu plans.

You will manage patient feeding, quality assurance and drive patient satisfaction scores.

Qualifications

• Requires 3–5 years of experience in a food service management role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field preferred.
• Healthcare patient services management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking candidates for a Patient Services Manager position at Connecticut Children's Medical Center, located in Hartford, CT. The Patient Service Manager will support the Patient Services Operation in the Food & Nutrition Department and will be responsible for developing and executing dining solutions to meet patient and customer needs and tastes. This person will utilize technical training and interpret government mandated nutritional standards in the healthcare industry on food health to develop healthy menu implementation plans. Manages patient feeding, quality assurance and drives patient satisfaction scores.

This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with only occasional weekends as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Manages patient food service activities, complying with established standards
• Leads patient service staff to ensure meals are properly prepared and delivered to patients
• Conducts rounds on patients/departments
• Oversees the diet office and the service ambassador program
• Record safety and sanitation compliance
• Supervises tray line operation and/or the room service program

Qualifications

• Requires at least 3-5 years of experience in a food service management role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Healthcare patient services management experience preferred.
• Experience managing, motivating a team.
• Proficient in computer applications and technology platforms; experience using CBORD is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, customer services and organizational skills required.
• Nutrition education and/or background preferred.
• Kitchen Sanitiation knowledge required and SERV Safe Certification is a plus.
