PathGroup in Texas is seeking a Patient Service Floater to perform daily phlebotomy and related specimen collection at PSC or in-office PST locations. This role requires travel to client sites and interaction with patients, clients, and PathGroup staff, following established procedures to ensure accuracy and timely service.
You will handle requisitions in PathConnect, prepare specimens, maintain records, and assist with administrative tasks.
Patient Service Floater under the direction of the area supervisor performs daily phlebotomy activities of the Patient Service Center (PSC) or In-office Patient Service Technician (PST) accurately and on time. Patient Services Floater works assisting with coverage of client locations as needed. Travel is required. The person in this position interacts with the client, patients, and other PathGroup personnel in a professional and courteous manner and performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
