Job description

Job Summary

Responsible for processing referrals at least 50% of the time and/or performing Dimensions super-user functions such as practice support with EPIC or working the miscellaneous work queues.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma required.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years in a medical office setting; related experience may be considered in lieu of medical office experience.
  • Additional Skills: Knowledge of medical office software (updating patient info, posting charges, copays, scheduling), understanding of CPT and ICD9-CM coding, excellent verbal communication skills, ability to adapt to changing priorities, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, cultural competence, confidentiality, teamwork, initiative, basic medical terminology, high proficiency with EPIC systems, knowledge of billing requirements, and familiarity with coding for practice specialties.
  • Preferred Skills: Proficiency in all practice-related computer software.
