The Patient Services Coordinator III is responsible for the timely and accurate recording of patient demographics, insurance information, patient charges, and collections. The role also involves scheduling patient appointments accurately and on time. Cross-training in multiple administrative support functions is required.

Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: At least one year of clerical experience in a medical office setting is required. Related experience may be considered.
  • Skills: Knowledge of medical office software (updating demographics, posting charges, scheduling). Excellent verbal communication, organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Ability to interact with diverse cultures and levels of authority. Confidentiality is essential. Teamwork, initiative, and basic medical terminology knowledge are required. Proficiency with EPIC systems and billing requirements is preferred.
