Job summary

CORA Physical Therapy in Savannah is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator for our Downtown clinic. You will support front desk operations, warmly greet patients, answer phones, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and help create a positive first impression.

This role emphasizes empathy, organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced outpatient setting, with opportunities for professional growth, benefits, and a supportive environment. Spanish fluency is preferred to assist a diverse patient base.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Recent customer service experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Fluency in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and build rapport through in-person and phone interactions.
• Screen and answer incoming calls promptly; take messages, and relay information as needed.
• Verify outpatient therapy insurance benefits and advise patients of financial responsibilities such as co-pays, deductibles, or co-insurance.
• Manage incoming physician referrals and prescriptions; communicate first visit expectations to new patients.
• Scan insurance cards, ID cards, and relevant paperwork into patient files.
• Collect co-pays and deductibles, provide receipts, balance daily collections, and submit charges to the Clinic Manager.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment; sanitize spaces according to CDC guidelines.
