Jefferson Health in Langhorne, PA seeks a Patient Services Associate (PSA) II to enhance the patient experience by handling arrival and departure activities and verifying insurance and demographics. The role supports efficient flow of patients to examination rooms and ensures timely pre-certifications for procedures.

You will greet patients, schedule via EPIC, maintain HIPAA compliance, and collaborate with staff to uphold the Jefferson Experience.

Qualifications

Job Details

The Patient Services Associate (PSA) II enhances the patient/customer experience by courteously and professionally processing arrival and departure activities associated with visits to the practice/department. Obtains pre certifications and/or pre authorizations for procedures, verifies insurance, referrals and patient demographic information. The PSA II supports delivery of the Jefferson Experience by placing emphasis on the prompt and courteous treatment of all patients and visitors to maintain an efficient flow of patients to examination rooms.

Obtains pre certifications and/or pre authorizations for procedures, verifies insurance, referrals and patient demographic information. The PSA II supports delivery of the Jefferson Experience by placing emphasis on the prompt and courteous treatment of all patients and visitors to maintain an efficient flow of patients to examination rooms.

• Adheres to HIPAA privacy and security requirements. Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to communicate courteously with patients and/or visitors. Willingness to provide and support a positive Jefferson Experience for all patients and/or visitors. Ability to process and interpret data. Ability to multi task while managing a time sensitive workload.
