Job Title: Remote Healthcare Customer Service Representative
Location: Remote - Must reside in one of the following states: AZ, CO, FL, GA, IN, KY, MI, MO, NC, OH, SC, WI
Company: TEKsystems (Contract with Pharmacord)
Start Date: October 2025
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour (up to $21/hour based on experience)
Contract Duration: 4 months

About the Role

TEKsystems is seeking compassionate and detail-oriented professionals for a Remote Healthcare Customer Service Representative role supporting Pharmacord. This position focuses on benefit investigations, patient outreach, and provider communication to ensure accurate and timely healthcare support.

Responsibilities
  • Handle 25-50 inbound calls daily related to re-enrollment and reverification
  • Make outbound calls to providers/payers to verify benefits and gather missing intake information
  • Document coverage details in a Summary of Benefits
  • Update case notes in the Lynk system to reflect current status and actions taken
  • Communicate professionally with both patients and providers
Qualifications
  • Strong customer service and call center experience
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and basic insurance processes
  • Experience in patient services is highly preferred
  • Reliable internet connection and remote work readiness
Schedule

Training: First 2 weeks, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Full training approximately 6-8 weeks)
Post-Training Hours: Monday-Friday, either 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include:
