AltaMed Health Services is seeking a Patient Services Advocate to welcome and attend to patients, creating a positive front office experience while managing expectations with compassion and respect.

The Advocate joins the health care team to assist in delivering patient-focused care, demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and 1–2 years in customer service, with strong bilingual capabilities preferred.

Job Overview

The Patient Services Advocate is an AltaMed ambassador by welcoming and attending to the needs of all patients and creating a positive front office patient experience by managing expectations while demonstrating compassion and respect. The Advocate also functions as a member of the health care team by assisting in the delivery of patient-focused care by demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience required as a customer service agent, greeter, or receptionist- preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese strongly preferred.
• A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Compensation

$25.00 - $29.38 hourly
