Patient Services Advisor (Clinical Coder)

To have a thorough knowledge of all practice procedures. To work in accordance with written protocols. Opening and managing incoming mail Processing GP2GP Tasks Summarising patients medical records Coding clinical correspondence Managing Pathology requests Managing our online consultation inbox Managing our NHS Mailbox General day to day administrative duties Covering Reception & Telephones when required Maintaining absolute confidentiality at all times and being aware of all Information Governance and Data Protection regulations.

The post-holder will: Apply practice policies, standards and guidance Discuss with other members of the team how the policies, standards and guidelines will affect own work Participate in audit where appropriate
