Job Summary

Our Patient Service Technicians positively impact the lives of patients each and every day by delivering medical equipment to them in their home. They provide excellent customer service by communicating product information, offering solutions, and ensuring understanding of relevant details so that patients feel comfortable operating their equipment.

Salary Range

$21.00 - $23.05/Hour

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  1. Load and unload medical equipment, oxygen, and supplies onto and off of delivery vehicles.
  2. Deliver medical equipment to homecare patients; including setting up the equipment, instructing patients on its basic use, and assisting with troubleshooting. Also responsible for picking up equipment.
  3. Proactively communicate estimated arrival times to patients and/or family members to prevent service failures.
  4. Complete delivery logs, forms, reimbursement documents, and vehicle maintenance logs via paper or electronic means.
  5. Perform routine vehicle maintenance and daily inspections; report issues or malfunctions.
  6. Respond to critical situations during business hours and on an on-call basis.
  7. Follow all traffic laws and regulatory requirements, including safe driving habits and documentation.
  8. Adhere to mandatory reporting requirements related to safety and environment conditions.
  9. May assist with cleaning and repairing equipment, scheduling deliveries, and other duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • At least one year of related work experience
  • Minimum three years of driving history
Licenses and Certifications
  • Active, valid Driver’s License
  • Completion of Apria Healthcare's Driver Training Program
  • Compliance with D.O.T., F.D.A., and Joint Commission regulations
