Job summary

Mid Coast Hospital, part of MaineHealth, is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to support patient scheduling and referrals while assisting in general administrative and patient service needs of the practice. This position involves 36 hours per week, four days, with every other weekend.

Qualifying candidates have at least six months of medical office experience; HS diploma or GED preferred; proficient computer skills are helpful. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered for qualified applicants.

For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants. This bonus will be prorated for part-time positions. Please note this bonus is not available for per-diem positions. Current MaineHealth employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth employees are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Summary: This position consists of 36 hours per week, 4 days per week with every other weekend.
The Patient Service Specialist role ensures patient scheduling and referral needs are met while assisting in the general administrative and patient service needs of the practice.

The pay range for this position is $20.27to $24.36 per hour.
