Job Description

Saint Luke’s Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to join our team. You will work to ensure patient confidentiality in all instances, while maintaining a pleasant and professional appearance and conduct.

Shift Details: Monday - Friday, Full Time

Responsibilities:

1. Perform a variety of functions in the medical office, including answering telephones, communicating messages through email or Epic.
2. Greeting, registering, and scheduling patient appointments.
3. Collect patient copayments, make appointment reminder calls, verify insurance and other patient data, scan and upload patient information to electronic charts.
4. Provide backup for other positions and functions in the medical office, including medical records, scheduling, insurance verification, and patient referrals. Ability to float between multiple locations as assigned. Maintain patient confidentiality and a professional demeanor at all times.
