Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Patient Service Representative for the Occupational Health clinic in McHenry, IL. This full-time, 40-hour-per-week role requires travel to cover Huntley, Woodstock, and Lake Forest locations.

Shifts run 6:45a–3:15p to 8:30a–5p, Monday–Friday, with no weekends or major holidays. You will greet patients, manage registrations, collect co-pays, and support daily operations while delivering exemplary customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years’ experience in a customer service role.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and guests, checks in/out, and verifies identity and visit details.
• Completes check-in/out functions and updates patient demographics/insurance information.
• Obtains patient consents/authorizations and collects co-pays and balances.
• Posts payments and processes billing information; performs end-of-day cash drawer closing.
• Keeps waiting area clean and comfortable; informs patients of delays or changes.
• Schedules appointments as needed; may float to other ICCs/departments.
• Other duties as assigned.

Will require travel to provide coverage to other locations (Huntley, Woodstock & Lake Forest). It will be an 8 hour shift with earliest shift being 6:45a-3:15p and the latest shift being 8:30a-5p.
