Job summary

For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering a $3,000 sign‑on bonus for qualified applicants. This bonus will be prorated for part‑time positions. Please note that this bonus is not available for per‑diem positions. Current MaineHealth employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth employees are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

The Neuro‑Surgery team is seeking a full‑time Patient Service Representative to join their team! The primary function of this role is supporting the call center with answering calls and transferring to the appropriate department. The position is dual trained and will also include Patient Service Representative tasks including greeting patients, check in, scanning documents, verifying insurance, and gathering demographic information from patients.

Summary: This position consists of 40 hours per week, day shifts with flexible scheduling considered.

The Patient Service Representative (PSR) role will greet patients, answer telephones, schedule appointments, and perform other overall general office duties as assigned.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • Experience: Previous office experience with medical office experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is $19.87to $23.75 per hour.

Compensation for part‑time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full‑time equivalent (FTE).
