Description

Summary: The Patient Service Representative (PSR) - MMC BID SAN role greets patients in a friendly and courteous manner, answers telephones, schedules appointments, and performs other general office duties as assigned. The PSR also collects, verifies, enters, and monitors patient data while complying with federal, state, and MaineHealth confidentiality policies.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  1. Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Driver's license may be required.
  3. Experience: Experience in a medical office and customer service preferred.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Computer skills, effective cash collection skills.
