Prisma Health Urgent Care in Greer, SC is seeking a Customer Service oriented Patient Service Representative to be the first friendly face patients encounter and to support efficient front-office operations. This full-time role includes a 3-day/12-hour shift pattern from 8 AM to 8 PM, with travel between Prisma Health Urgent Care locations as needed.

You will handle check-in, documentation, insurance verification, and financial responsibility while supporting staff and ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Warm Welcome: Greet and assist all patients and visitors with a positive attitude, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.


• Patient and Business Documentation: Maintain confidentiality while collecting and organizing important patient and business documents.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent, Medical Administrative Assistant certificate a plus


• Experience: 1+ year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred


• Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a busy environment


• Technical Skills: Strong computer skills required, with the ability to efficiently multitask and work across multiple screens simultaneously. Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, EPIC preferred


• Flexibility: Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including some weekends and holidays
