The role emphasizes collaboration with the Central Billing Office and daily patient interactions, with a Monday–Thursday 40-hour schedule and extended Fridays, located at the clinic in the United States.

Formación

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• No prior experience required.
• Preferred: related associate degree or coursework.

• Performs receptionist duties and front desk tasks.
• Verifies health insurance information and explains applicable regulations to patients.
• Collects payments and records financial data.
• Performs charge entry, assigns codes, and records clinic charges.

Additional Job Information 40 hours per week Monday through Thursday; 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday; 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Location: Vascular Surgery Clinic Benefits start first day of employment!

Overview

Job Summary Serves as a lead for front office activity. Directs the patient flow process at the physician office. Performs patient check in and appointment scheduling as assigned. Supports Central Billing Office by maintaining patient financial records at the office. Provides closure to patient visit. May support office as switchboard operator as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Handles telephone calls from patients, forwarding calls needing triage.
• Performs receptionist duties.
• Verifies health insurance payment information and educates patients on the applicable regulations.
• Collects payments and records data.
• Charge entry, which includes assigning diagnostic codes and entering all physician related and clinic charges.
• Coordinates information with Central Billing Office to ensure all charges are captures and properly collected.
• Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience No Experience

Preferred Qualifications

Associate Degree < 2 Years' Experience
