$500 Sign On Bonus

A non-exempt medical office position responsible for front office processes in the physician practice.

Qualifications
  1. Education: High school diploma/GED required; completion of a medical office assistant program preferred.
  2. Certification: Healthcare management/administration certification is preferred.
  3. Experience: At least two years of customer service experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
Responsibilities
  • Adhere to and support the mission, purpose, philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of Tenet Physician Resources.
  • Comply with the Tenet HIPAA Compliance Plan and Privacy Standards Confidentiality Agreement.
  • Support the Tenet Corporate Compliance Program by understanding compliance responsibilities, adhering to laws and policies, and reporting issues promptly.
  • Greet patients entering the physician practice.
  • Answer phones, schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments as needed.
  • Check in patients, collect accurate demographics, enter data into the electronic system, and verify insurance.
  • Assist with checking out patients, referral processing, and scheduling.
  • Collect co-pays and post charges.
  • Manage charge entry and patient balance processing.
  • Distribute information regarding office policies and practice details.
  • Explain and enroll patients in the patient portal.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
