Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative Float to provide front office coverage across multiple practice locations. The role requires travel between sites and weekend/holiday rotation to ensure seamless patient service.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, handling calls, scheduling, registrations, co-pays, and HIPAA compliance while maintaining accuracy and compassion in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Windows-based office applications.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to travel to and work from various Southern New Hampshire Health practice locations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients, visitors, and customers in a professional and compassionate manner
• Answer incoming telephone calls and provide general information
• Perform patient check-in and check-out functions
• Schedule appointments and requested testing
• Enter and track referrals
• Verify and update patient demographic and registration information
• Collect and process co-pays and daily payment batches accurately
• Scan and index documentation into the electronic medical record
• Provide coverage for multiple practice locations, including weekend and holiday rotations as needed
• Support Patient Centered Medical Home initiatives and other special projects
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies and procedures

About the Job:

The Patient Service Representative (PSR) Float is responsible for providing front office coverage across multiple Southern New Hampshire Health practice locations as needed. This role requires flexibility and the ability to travel between practices, sometimes supporting more than one location in the same day. The PSR Float serves as a vital resource to ensure seamless operations and excellent patient service throughout the organization.

What You'll Do:
