Job Overview

The Patient Service Representative: Dental Site Lead supports the mission, goals, and objectives of the Health Center by managing daily patient scheduling, ensuring current documentation, and performing check-in and check-out tasks. Responsibilities include managing dental referrals, pre-authorizations, and handling dental no-shows in compliance with policies. Collaborates with the Billing and Patient Services Manager as a resource for dental program scheduling, processes, and workflow. Evaluates and improves workflows to maximize clinic access and productivity. Serves as a project lead for workflow initiatives originating in the Patient Service Registration area.

Requirements
  • Knowledge of dental patient care, billing, access, and compliance issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and applications.
