Medical Associates of the Lowcountry - Patient Services Representative
Job Title: Patient Services Representative
Job Environment: Medical office position responsible for front-office processes in the cardiology practice
Responsibilities:
Schedule patient appointments and manage check-in/check-out processes
Provide a welcoming experience and top-notch customer service
Collect co-pays and process charges
Perform charge entry and patient balance processing
Distribute information to patients regarding office policies, procedures, and information about the practice
Explain and enroll patients in the patient portal
Education:
Required: High school diploma/GED
Preferred: Completion of or currently enrolled in a medical office assistant program
Experience:
Must have 2 years of experience working in an administrative or scheduling capacity in an office setting
Must be skilled in MS Office Suite, including Excel
Exposure to a medical records management system and/or scheduling software preferred
