Job summary

Kittitas Valley Healthcare (KVH) is seeking a part-time Per Diem receptionist to provide reception, scheduling, and image management services for the Imaging & Cardiopulmonary Departments. The role requires at least a high school diploma and 1 year of administrative or customer service experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred candidates may have medical terminology knowledge, prior experience in a medical setting, and an Associate or Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Reception and scheduling for Imaging & Cardiopulmonary departments.
• Experience with medical terminology or clinical office workflows preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide reception, scheduling, and image management support for Imaging & Cardiopulmonary Departments.

Qualifications

What is required...

• High School Education
• At least one year of general administrative/clerical or customer service experience
• Current computer experience (medium to expert level) in Microsoft products

What Is Preferred...

• Demonstrated knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Previous experience in medical field with some or all of the following; medical records, insurance verification and pre-authorization fundamentals, scheduling, and high volume phone systems
• Associate or Bachelor's degree
• Certified Medical Administrative Assistant from the National Healthcareer Association

Additional Information

Wage: Wage range currently starts at $19.62/hour and goes up to $29.74/hour. Actual wage will be based on years' of applicable experience. This position may also be eligible to receive an additional 15% premium in lieu of benefits.
