Job summary

KVH seeks a Patient Access Representative to register hospital admissions and outpatient services with accuracy and regulatory compliance. You will collect patient information, verify insurance and assist in collecting deductibles and co-pays, working closely with hospital and revenue cycle teams.

Primary duties include greeting patients and handling multi-line calls in a welcoming front-desk environment. The role requires a high school diploma, clerical experience, and comfort with Microsoft

Job Description

The Patient Access Representative is responsible for the registration of hospital admissions and outpatient services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Federal and State regulations. Duties include collection of required patient information, insurance verification and participation in collection of deductibles and co-pays. Works closely with hospital, clinic and revenue cycle personnel. Performs general reception duties including, answering multi-line telephone and greeting and directing patients and visitors to hospital departments.

Additional Information

Wage

Wage range currently starts at $19.62/hour and goes up to $29.74/hour. Actual wage will be based on years' of applicable experience.

FTE

.1.0 (40 hours/week); Primary schedule is Monday through Friday; 8:30a-5:00p
