Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) is seeking a Patient Services Representative for the Encinitas clinic. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, collect information, and support front desk operations to ensure a smooth patient experience.

This 40-hour-per-week role pays $18-$20 per hour based on experience, with clinic hours Monday–Friday, 7am–7pm, at 205 S El Camino Real, Encinitas, CA 92024.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare administrationeducation is a plus.
• Proven experience in a customer service role; healthcare setting preferred.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Job Title

Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) and its Family of Brands is seeking to recruit & hire a Patient Services Representative.

About the Role

As a Patient Service Representative at PRN Physical Therapy, you'll be an essential part of our team, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our patients.

Brand: Spine & Sport Physical Therapy

Pay: $18-20/hr (based on experience & skill set)

Schedule: Full time 40hrs/per week - clinic is open M-F 7am-7pm

Location: 205 S El Camino Real, Encinitas, CA 92024

Duties & Responsibilities

Patient Interaction:

• Greet and welcome patients with professionalism and warmth.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient inquiries both in person and over the phone.
• Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and necessary documentation accurately.
• Help create a positive work environment and clinic culture by ensuring the patient’s needs are taken care of during transitional periods of therapy. Help provide customer service, a smile.

Administrative Support:

• Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
• Assist in keeping front office area neat, tidy and organized.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient experience.
• Assist front office with front office tasks when down time occurs including but not limited to: answering the phone, scanning documents into charts, scheduling patients, taking over the counter payments, filing, faxing, etc.

Communication and Coordination:

• Liaise effectively between patients, clinical staff, and other departments within the facility.
• Communicate clearly and professionally to address patient concerns or questions.

Miscellaneous Operations:

• Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
• Assist in managing inventory and ordering office supplies as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment. Daily equipment cleaning, cleaning tables, laundry, stocking supplies.

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.
• Proven experience in a customer service role; healthcare setting preferred.
• Proficiency in using office software and scheduling systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information and documentation.
