About the role

As a Patient Service Coordinator at MyEyeDr., you play a vital role by providing personalized patient experiences through front desk coordination and management during check-in and check-out. No optical experience? No problem! We provide training and tools to help you learn about an industry dedicated to delivering exceptional care to help patients see and live their best lives. Join our team today to provide the highest quality vision care. This role reports to the Office General Manager, with some weekend and evening shifts required.

You Will
  1. Provide patients with a personalized check-in/out experience that is timely, seamless, and positive.
  2. Become a subject matter expert in insurance plans to verify and educate patients on their options during check-in/out.
  3. Assist with appointment confirmations and patient outreach in collaboration with the doctor’s schedule.
  4. Manage multiple phone lines, greet patients and walk-ins, schedule appointments, and support office staff as needed.
  5. Cross-train in other office support roles such as Eyewear Consultants and Optometric Technicians, depending on office needs.
  6. Collaborate with doctors and team members to ensure a seamless patient experience.
About You
  1. Experience in a front desk, reception, or customer-facing role supporting administrative and clerical tasks.
  2. Organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure while delivering excellent service.
  3. Flexible and adaptable, able to handle multiple responsibilities.
  4. Friendly, caring, and patient-centric, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  5. A team player willing to collaborate for the best patient experience.
  6. Computer savvy with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  7. Professional attitude with problem-solving skills and responsiveness to patient requests.
