Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator in Boston to manage front desk operations, check-in/out processes, and patient communications. Training will be provided for those new to the optical industry to ensure a best-in-class patient experience.

You will verify insurance options, assist with appointment confirmations, and support staff as needed. Weekend/evening shifts are required, with opportunities for growth and bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients a personalized check in/out experience for a timely, seamless visit.
• Become a subject matter expert in insurance plans to verify options at check in/out.
• Assist in appointment confirmations and patient outreach in partnership with Doctor availability.
• Manage multiple phone lines, greet patients and walk-ins, schedule appointments, and support office staff.
• Cross-train to other office roles as needed (Eyewear Consultants, Optometric Technicians).
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to ensure a seamless patient experience.

No optical experience? No problem! Description

The wage range for this position is $15.45 to $20.15 hourly, commensurate with experience and office location. The company complies with all state and local wage and hour laws and the minimum pay range will always be at or above the applicable minimum wage.

You Will

• Provide patients a personalized check in/out process experience that creates a timely, seamless, and positive experience
• Become a subject matter expert in insurance plans to help verify and educate patients on options as they check in/out for appointments
• Assist in appointment confirmations and patient outreach in partnership with Doctor availability
• Be a multitasker by managing multiple phone lines, greeting patients and walk ins, scheduling appointments and assisting office staff duties as needed
• Have the ability to at times cross train to other office support roles such as Eyewear Consultants and Optometric Technicians (Varies by office needs)
• Collaborate with doctor(s) and team members to provide seamless patient experience
