Responsibilities
  • Schedule patient appointments for specified physicians using a computerized appointment scheduling program

  • Inform patients about appointment requirements, including referral forms and x-rays
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines
  • Respond to patient inquiries and manage urgent calls to physicians as necessary
Qualifications

  • Minimum two years’ experience working in a physician practice scheduling appointments
  • Proficient in using email and interacting with Internet applications
  • Computer literate with knowledge of practice management and word processing software
