Job summary

ProMedica Central Physicians is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to greet and register patients, answer calls, take messages and schedule appointments. You will maintain the provider's schedule and support clinical staff with outgoing calls to patients, pharmacies or other providers as needed.

The ideal candidate has high school diploma or equivalent with 1 year of customer service or clerical experience; an associate degree is preferred, and experience with EPIC EMS is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience in a customer service or clerical setting.
• Associates degree (preferred).
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, third party billing and referral procedures.
• Experience with EPIC EMS.
• 3 years' experience in a clerical or office function.
• 1 year experience in a medical office setting.
